Siofra does not like to be cold. She burrowed her way into the blankets this morning, and I only just saw her peeking out about ten minutes ago. Before that there was just a mass of gently rumbling blankies in the middle of the bed. I let her be.
It’s been raining pretty steadily for the past few days, and the chill sneaks into the house. It sneaks into your bones if you go outside. The term used here is ‘raw’.
Paul likes the fog. I don’t mind it. Actually I don’t mind the rain either. It’s good for the trees and flowers and we’ve been below our normal rainfall for this time of year. They say we need it. I suppose we do.
I have the day off today, so I can enjoy the rain and keep company with my furry little buddy. I’m going to make some tea and sit still for a bit and contemplate the good things in my life.

May 14 - Happy Mother’s Day!
Time to make another cup of tea and take a look at this week’s Carnival of the Cats at Watermark. Won’t you join me?

She looks just like my twin kitties, Yin and Yang. They’re both tiger-cats as well.
Thanks for sharing some of those good things with us!
