Obsessions

Who can resist kitty toes?
Okay, okay. I know there are plenty of people who can resist kitty toes. But I am not among them, and I know lots of people who are just like me. So this photo is for me and for others with the kitty toes obsession. (There is also a kitty nose obsession, but I’ll feature that another time).
Siofra loves watching the birds outside. All the rainy weather lately has kept the ‘birdy’ activity to a minimum, much to her disappointment. This morning there was a riot of bird music in the trees outside, and I knew it was going to be a good day for Siofra’s birdwatching hobby.
And it was indeed. She spent most of her morning, right after breakfast, indulging in her birdy obsession. They sit in the bushes outside and hop around on the ground, taking ‘dirt baths’ and probably looking for bugs to eat. She watched them for awhile, before settling down for a bath and a nice long nap in her window seat.
Paul and I call this Cat Yoga position “The Elbows of Death”. Someday I’ll take photos of the “Meatloaf” asana (yes, I stole that from B. Kliban) and all the other postions and make a Cat Yoga photo album on Flickr or something.

Cat yoga positions - I love it!
Ah, Kitty toes, now I see. Bunny bums are cute too. Or that big wide eyed innocent look kitties give you when they’re trying to be cute cause they’ve been bad!
