Today marked the first anniversary of our move to New Hampshire. We celebrated by going out for a nice lunch followed by good cigars at Blowin’ Smoke in Bedford.
This afternoon we reflected on how far we’ve come. We’ve had to adjust our original goals slightly, but we are still a lot better off now than we were a year ago. Compared to where (and how) we were living before, this is paradise. Now on to the next phase in our plan for World Domination.
I’m creating more designs for jewelry and other things. We’re working on the website and working hard at our jobs and building our savings. It’s going to take some effort and some discipline but by this time next year we hope to be in a house. It may be a rental, but it will still be a house.
We were blessed by being able to move here, and we are blessed with opportunities now that we are here. We hope to make the most of these opportunities during our second year in New Hampshire.

Happy Anniversary! I didn’t realize you guys were flatlanders. Well, I suppose you’re still welcome.
Thank you Terry!
Flatlanders? Hmmmm. I come from California where we have the Sierra Nevadas and other wonderful mountains. But I suppose that actually makes me a foreigner eh? Duuude!
I think the term “flatlander” is for anyone not from New Hampshire. You could be from the Swiss Alps, and we would still call you a Flatlander. I’ll check with Janice from Cow Hampshire on that. She is an encyclopedia of NH slang, geneology, and nomenclature.
yeah! and we have nice mountains too, they look small, until you walk ‘em!
