Already Fall

I know it’s still August (barely), but it feels like autumn already. The temperatures have dropped and it’s been raining steadily for a couple of days. Tomorrow is supposed to be sunny, but I don’t think we’ll have the heat of summer anymore.
School starts tomorrow. The library has been a veritable madhouse of last minute returns, checkouts and kids cashing in their summer reading points for snacks and prizes.
I love fall. It’s my favorite season. I can’t wait for the fall colors to arrive. I will be using the camera extensively this year. From what I understand, the more rain during spring and summer the better and brighter the fall colors. We’ve had a lot of rain this year.
I’m getting that sleepy, hibernating feeling that I always get during the fall months. I feel like I’m ready for a long winter’s nap.
