Simple Rice and Sausages

A Simple Rice and Sausage Dish
You could use this as a side dish or main dish.
1 1/2 cups cooked rice
olive oil
mrs dash
1/2 large onion, chopped small
2 large garlic cloves, chopped fine
1 large italian pepper, chopped small
finely chopped jalapeƱo peppers, to taste (optional)
4 medium-size cooked sausage links, cut into 1/4 inch thick rounds
If you begin cooking the rice before preparing the vegetables and sausage, the rice should be ready just about the same time as the remaining ingredients.
In a skillet, heat the olive oil and mrs dash to taste. You can use other spices if you prefer. Saute the garlic, onion and pepper until the peppers are soft. Add the sausage and heat through.
In a large bowl, toss this mixture with the rice until it is well mixed.
