Memorial Day

Siofra enjoys a bit of sun while wishing everyone a happy Memorial Day. She is now a member of the Gorgeous Gingers, and one of the few female ginger cats in existence. They are rare, and that makes her special. But she’s not letting it go to her head… much.
It’s been a nice day. We slept late, and after breakfast, watched the high school band march by our windows on the way to the West Street Cemetery for the parade this afternoon. Then I took a nap. Yeah, it’s been a sleepy kind of day. I made cheeseburgers for lunch and we watched Ferris Bueller.
It’s been a good weekend. We spent time with good friends and enjoyed the weather. The Sox keep winning and the Yanks keep losing. What more could you ask for?
