Nashua West

Milford is nice, but after spending over a year and a half here, we have no desire to make it permanent. It is a major improvement over Woonsocket Rhode Island, where we lived before we moved here. But we were expecting a small town, with small town values and environment. It is hardly that. Paul and I have dubbed it “Nashua West”.
Just look at this. Ick.
And that’s not the worst of it, they left this crap on the side of the gas station, located on a main street through town, for over a week. What kind of impression does that make on people passing through? What sort of message does that send to the people who live here? If I want to see graffiti, I’ll move back to Woonsocket. Unfortunately it’s a fairly accurate representation of Milford’s future, if those in charge don’t start taking some responsibility for the welfare of the town.
Too bad. Because this town has a lot of potential to be charming and sweet, if someone would just take an interest.
