What I’ve Been Dreaming About

I dream about having a more peaceful life one day. I dream about living in an elegant old house with a wrap-around porch and a big garden. I dream about a long life with good health.
I dream about writing books that some people will enjoy reading. I dream about having lots of cats and dogs, and growing herbs to use in my kitchen.
I dream about visiting tropical beaches with white sand and turquoise water. I dream about visiting old cities around the world, and listening carefully to their secrets.
I dream about creating beautiful things with fabric, beads, stones, feathers, shells and glass. Things that will adorn my home and my body, and be enjoyed by some other folks in the same way as well.
I dream about taking long walks in the mountains, by lakes and streams. I dream about watching thunderstorms from safe shelters. I dream about sitting on a rocky shore in the rain, while listening to the crash of the waves. I dream of sitting in the desert at twilight, and watching a multicolored sky slowly give way to stars in black velvet.
I dream about having complete control over my life, and not being interfered with by people who think they know what’s best for me. I dream about feeling happy, safe and loved every day.
