A Tea Party
Sep 1st, 2007 by lisa

My friend Kim had a few of the ladies over to her house for a tea party this afternoon. At each of our place settings we found a keepsake bag of mints and mint tea, and a posie with a fortune in it. A fortune posie, rather than a fortune cookie. Kim put on quite a feast for us. Along with our tea, she served fresh fruit, crackers, luncheon sandwiches, candies, cookies, pastries and a wonderful chocolate cake. She really went to a lot of trouble to create a very special occasion for us to enjoy.
There was great conversation and a lot of laughs, as there always is when we friends get together. Kim’s sister-in-law Kate brought her three-month-old son Aidan, who also had a great time being the center of attention and flirting with all the ladies.
Thank you, Kim for a lovely afternoon tea.
There is a very small album in the photo gallery. I was too busy eating and having fun and forgot to take more photos.

That is just SO civilised. What a lovely idea, I might just steal it.
