Things I Saw…

There is a lot of construction going on down at the high school. They are putting in a track. I can’t imagine how the kids have got along without one till now. I see them running circles around the high school, through the parking lot in the afternoons. They really need this track. During the day, when the big earth-movers and back-hoes and other very large equipment are working, I can feel the floor shake here in my apartment. I’m on the second floor, so I can imagine how it would feel for those on the first floor.
The squirrels are out in large numbers right now, especially in the morning. I would imagine they are busy storing up provisions for the winter.
There are some other odds and ends in the gallery. I actually took quite a few photos, but it was cloudy this morning, and these are the only ones that turned out well enough to share.
The squirrel picture really cracked me up! No, not because of the squirrel, who was really cute, but because of the ‘kiddy’ swing in the tree in the background. Why was it placed so high? Tall toddlers or a dad with a wicked sense of humor? The big metal thing… hillbilly hot tub?
