Milford Great Pumpkin Festival, Etc.

We had a busy day today.
This weekend was the Milford Great Pumpkin Festival. This is the third time we’ve gone, and so far last year was the best. I don’t know what was missing this year, except maybe our energy. We were both very tired, especially Paul who worked overtime all week. It was also pretty hot and muggy. We got their early, before the heat really got bad and left before lunchtime. Paul took a lot of pictures, and you can see some of them in this photo album if you like.
We needed to go into Manchester to do some food shopping at Sam’s Club. But first we stopped and spent some time browsing at Barnes and Noble, one of our favorite hangouts. After that we had lunch at Famous Dave’s Bar-B-Que. This was a real treat, as they have some of the best bar-b-que I’ve ever tasted.
After food shopping and a few other errands, we came home and collapsed. We had lunch really late, so I just made some nachos to snack on while we watched some football on teevee.
I’m pretty pooped now, so it’s off to bed for me. I must get some rest, for I have a meme to write tomorrow and I’m gonna have to do some thinking for this one.
