Five Years Ago Today

Today is our fifth wedding anniversary.
Five years ago on this day, a small group of us gathered together at the house of Paul’s best friend and his family. In a small, quiet ceremony in we were married.
I had to fight an urge to cry throughout the ceremony. I was experiencing such strong emotions (typical - when don’t I experience strong emotions?), that as soon as the Justice of the Peace began, I felt a flood of tears that I could barely contain. As a result there is not one photo of me smiling till after the vows were spoken, the rings exchanged and a kiss united us forever. After that, I don’t think I could have stopped smiling if I had tried.
Paul is my best friend in the whole world. As the years have passed, our friendship has only grown stronger. These last five years have been a blessing in so many ways.

Happy Anniversary! Oh how I love a love story! How did you two meet? Where did you go on your honeymoon? What is the most amazing thing you’ve discovered about one another and about yourself since becoming man and wife?
