I Ain’t Got My Taco
Oct 26th, 2007 by lisa
Today is travel day, so Red Sox Nation gets a break tonight. We don’t have to stay up late, doing our part to help the Sox win another game.
Last night may have been the last time we see Curt Schilling in a Red Sox uniform, sad to say. But if it’s so, then at least he went out strong. The fans gave him a well-deserved standing ovation as he left the field last night.
Not that Fox let us fully enjoy the moment, cutting to the commercial break so quickly. (I hate watching Red Sox games on Fox. I am so sick of Buck and McCarver’s pointless yammering. Heh. I want my RemDawg and Don!). At least we were able to watch a replay on the news this morning, as he raised his cap to the fans and seemed to be fighting back the tears. He will always be remembered by the Nation for his awesome pitching, his enthusiasm, his love for the game. Not to mention stepping up when we needed him against the Yankees, bloody sock and all.
I won’t get a taco, ’cause their only giving them out on Tuesday from 2-5pm. Yeah, how convenient. NOT. Nevertheless, thanks to Jacoby Ellsbury, there will be free tacos for everyone. So go out and get yours!

I’m looking forward to my free taco
BTW go Rockies
don’t kill me
Oh don’t worry, we won’t kill you… as long as you stay away.
By the way, how are those Angels doing, anyway? Just checking…
