Congratulations to the Red Sox on their victory last night. They are World Series Champions for the second time in four years.
It was a roller coaster ride, but they swept their way to the championship.
I’m exhausted. The party continues elsewhere.
Get the duck boats ready. There’s gonna be a parade!

While it would be nice to see the Red Sox win the World Series at home, I don’t think that will be necessary. It’s not just that we believe the Rockies have already lost, they look like they believe they’ve already lost, and that is far more important. And then there’s the towels. Give me […]

Today is travel day, so Red Sox Nation gets a break tonight. We don’t have to stay up late, doing our part to help the Sox win another game.
Last night may have been the last time we see Curt Schilling in a Red Sox uniform, sad to say. But if it’s so, then at least […]

I walked to the center of town this morning, to take care of some business at the bank. I witnessed folks greeting each other like this:
“Thirteen to one!” and then grinning hugely at each other. The Nation is in a good mood today.

Friday we begin the ALCS. Hopefully the Sox will bring their broom with them. We’ll see.

So, the Red Sox are the AL East Champs this year. That’s the good news.
The Yankees are not the AL East Champs this year. That’s even better news.
I don’t want to get too excited yet. But I’m quietly celebrating.
These guys were not quietly celebrating, but you really can’t blame them. This is the first time […]

So the Red Sox beat the Yankees again last night, winning two out of the three game series played over the weekend.
Not only are the Sox in first place in their division, the Yankees are dead last.
But even better. The Sox, at this moment, have the best record in the American League. As a matter […]

We had a great time yesterday. Fenway was awesome and I enjoyed every minute. Well, except for the Sox losing so badly. I would have rather they had won the first time I saw them play at Fenway, but you stick with your team through the good as well as the bad. It was still […]
